The Holidays are here and historic Gates Hall will once again set the scene for the season! Get in the holiday spirit with a matinee performance of “A Christmas Carol” at 2pm on December 10th.

Back by popular demand, this performance by Kim Tenreiro will bring to life over 30 characters on the Gates Hall stage in his one-man, two-act show. While it’s one thing to memorize a joke, or maybe a poem or two, theatre enthusiasts will want to join Tenreiro who has memorized an entire Dickens novella! As inventor, compounding pharmacist, computer whiz, Geva Theatre board member and actor — Kim has taken on the task to support charitable causes as he will at Gates Hall on December 10th when all proceeds will benefit the Gates Hall Preservation and Performance Funds.

Setting a historical ambiance for this performance, Gates Hall, which dates back to 1825, is a property of the Williamson-Pultneyville Historical Society, sole steward of the hall. Residing on both the State and National Registers of Historic Places, Gates Hall proudly celebrates its long-standing place in history as the oldest continuously active small community theatre in the United States.
