ROC City Ringers Benefit Concert in Pultneyville

$18The Roc City Ringers will perform a benefit concert in Gates Hall, Pultneyville, NY on Sunday, September 29, 2019, at 4 pm.
ROC City Ringers are a popular Rochester community handbell ensemble, formed in 2013, and directed by Jacqueline Anderson and Christina Lenti. The bell choir performs a wide range of classical, contemporary, and sacred music, and has presented concerts at the Rochester Finge Festival, many local libraries and other community venues. The ROC City Ringers play on five octaves of Schulmerich handbells and Malmark handchimes.
Join the Williamson-Pultneyville Historical Society (W-PHS) for this first-in-a-series of benefit concerts to support the preservation and structural remediation of Historic Gates Hall, the oldest active little community theatre venue in the United States in continuous operation. Built in 1825, Gates Hall is an architecturally significant property listed on the National Register of Historic Places and a pillar in the community. You won’t want to miss this concert featuring the art of handbell ringing and the celestial sound of bells resonating throughout this 194-year-old building situated in the historic hamlet of Pultneyville, just 25 miles east of Rochester at 4107 Lake Road in the Town of Williamson, NY 14589.
Doors open at 3:30 pm; seating on a first-come, first-served basis.
