“Wonderful World of Cemetery Art” . . . Tombstones and Sentiments – March 4
March 4 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join Jane Hopkins and Learn about the Wonderful World of Cemetery Art
This program will explore the art of tombstones . . . something many often take for granted. Jane’s presentation will reflect on the carvings and sentiments of cemetery stones and the mystery of death they symbolize in area cemeteries, including Pultneyville’s Lakeview Cemetery which dates back to 1806.
The program will begin at 7pm in historic Gates Hall located at 4107 Lake Road, Pultneyville. While the Hall is celebrating its 200th Birthday throughout 2026, this program is also the first in a series that commemorates and celebrates America 250 and our local history, which has shaped our country. This
program will also include an opportunity to purchase Jane’s books and a book signing.
